All licenses expire on December 31st.
2. What is the difference between a Citizen License and a UCI License?
Cit Citizen License holders are only able to race in Alberta (excluding Nationals, Canada Cup or World Cup events) and can only race in the lowest category offered.
3. Am I able to upgrade with a Citizen License?
No, upgrades are only for racers with a full UCI license. If you have a citizen license and have earned enough points to upgrade, you can purchase a UCI license and be upgraded.
4. If I am 30 years of age or older can I still race as elite?
Yes, however once you choose your category you may only switch it once during the season
5. Can I purchase 3 day licenses in one year?
No, you may only purchase 2 day licenses throughout a season. Once you have reached your maximum ABA staff will contact you via email.
6. If I am only a few points away from an upgrade, can I get an early upgrade?
No, you must earn all upgrade points before being upgraded.
