Note to all BMXers,

For 2013, the Alberta Indoor Cycling Center will continue to offer BMXers exciting riding and racing throughout the cold winter months. It is important to note that before any rider uses the track, they must have a valid 2013 Alberta Bicycle Association General Membership or CCC/UCI license. 2013 licenses can be purchased online here. Please allow sufficient time for processing.

Open Track Days
All open track days will be scheduled from 11:00am to 4:00pm unless otherwise stated. All riders must have at minimum a valid 2013 Alberta Bicycle Association General Membership or CCC/UCI license to ride.

Additionally, the track will be open Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 8:30pm ending April 17th.

AICC District Racing
All District Racing days at the AICC will follow the below schedule:
   -   Open track:         11:00am – 1:30pm
   -   Registration:      12:30pm – 1:30pm
   -   Racing:                2:00pm – 4:00pm

Winter Series Racing
Winter Series Races will follow a format similar to the Provincial Series, although will not be included on the Alberta Cup calendar. Points will be earned independently of District or Alberta Cup Series'.

Riders will be able to register for Winter Series Races via online registration. Cost to race for all riders will be $30. Please click here to access the Winter Series poster.

Series Awards: In order to qualify for Series awards, riders must race in at least one of the two regular season races on either February 2nd or March 16th plus the series final on April 6th. Any rider may race the Final regardless of participation in the two regular season races.

Points: Final points will be determined based on the rider's best race score out of the two regular season races, plus the score from the final race on April 6th.

8:00 - 8:15          9 & Under

8:15 - 8:30          Cruisers

8:30 - 8:45          10-13 Yrs

8:45 - 9:00          14 & Over

9:00 - 9:15          Junior/Elite

9:15 - 9:30          9 & Under

9:30 - 9:45          Cruisers

9:45 - 10:00       10-13 Yrs

10:00-10:15       14 & Over

10:15-10:30       Junior/Elite

Prices/Additional Information
All riders who are a member of an Alberta Bicycle Association affiliated BMX Club may ride the track free of charge. This includes Open Track days as well as District Races.

* All riders who are not members of an Alberta Bicycle Association affiliated BMX club will be subject to the following fees:
   -   $200 flat rate per family for the duration of the winter season, or;
   -   $125/rider for the duration of the winter season, or;
   -   $20/rider per weekend
