Mountain Bike XC

Podiums
Youth Sport Expert and Senior Sport will have the same start time however each will have their own podium

Upgrades
Novice upgrades will be mandatory after 1 win or 2 podiums

Cross

Categories
Open Women and Sport Women will have their own start times. The combining of the categories will follow the same regulations as other categories

Road

New Citizen Category

Riders possessing a Category 5 or Citizen license are eligible to race in the combined men and women Citizen Category. This is a non-competitive category that will respect the maximum distances corresponding to Category 5. Competitors in the Citizen Category will not earn Alberta Cup points and therefor will not be entitled to category upgrades.

BMX

Categories
Junior Devo will no longer be considered a class in AB Cup racing

Out of Province Racers
Out of province racers may compete and earn provincial series points. Out of province riders are eligible to earn P plates for the series
