May 19, 2009 The Alberta Bicycle Association (ABA) in conjunction with the Canadian Cycling Association and supported by the Alberta Sport, Recreation, Parks and Wildlife Foundation and Sport Canada is launching a Women's Development Program for women of all ages and abilities to try a race for their first time. There is NO COST to take part in the weekly activities and there is a minimal cost to take part in the Alberta Cup events. Starting May 20th 2009 there will be a ladies only Group ride leaving the south side of the Olympic Oval at 6:00pm. These will run every Wednesday throughout the summer. There is no age or fitness restriction.
