Blow Street Cyclocross - Cancelled

"October 1, 2010, Dead Goat Racing regrettably had to cancel the 3rd edition of the Super Fun, Super Fast Blow Street 'Cross Race today. As at October 1, 2010 Dead Goat Racing had not received confirmation from the City of Calgary approving the use of Blakiston Park in NW Calgary - the same venue for the past two years. In the past this City approval was never an issue and always given to Dead Goat Racing in a matter of a couple of weeks. This year, the process has taken over six weeks and to date no feedback from the City as to why the delay. With no certainty surrounding obtaining the Blakiston Park venue and minimal time to find an alternative venue, design an appropriate course and organize all the other aspects of an ABA race, the decision was made to cancel the 2010 Blow Street Cross Race."
