BMX & MTB TO BE INCLUDED IN 2010 ALBERTA SUMMER GAMES

The Alberta Bicycle Association has recently been informed that BMX and Mountain Bike (XC) will be part of the 2010 Alberta Summer Games in Peace River and Grimshaw. The 2010 Games will mark the return of Mountain Bike to the games for the first time since 2004 and will mark the development of a new BMX track in northern Alberta.

Roddi Lega (MTB & BMX Coordinator) stated "The Alberta Summer Games provide a great opportunity for growth and development of Alberta's next generation of top athletes."

Qualification and coaching information will be announced in early 2010.
