NEW RULE: Deciding between an Elite or Master license

Hello ABA racers,

Contrary to the information that has been circulated, Elite licenses cannot be changed to Master licenses to allow a racer to contest two National Championship events.

The rule is listed below in full.

An athlete aged 30 years or older must decide whether he /she will compete in the Elite or

Master category for the entire season. This choice must be made each year at the time of

application (1.1.036). The UCI code will reflect the athlete’s true age and the category code

will indicate the rider’s choice as either Elite or Master for competition purposes.

Any riders needing to confirm a mistake on their UCI Category (Elite or Master) must contact the office by May 14, 2010.

All requests received after May 14, 2010 will be denied.
